I’m a geographer. Once academically. Today by application. Digital geography (or GIS) I learned in the 90’s. Web GIS was my thing. It turned me into a reluctant map maker. But .. my journey had begun (thanks Jack).
I took a deep geo-technology dive. Then came up for air, and an epiphany: Applying geography to solve business problems was really what fueled me. Oh, and thinking differently.
If you follow my musings, you’ll see me talk endlessly about Geospatial 2.0: the new paradigm for geospatial. I’m also geo-enabling at Critigen. Complimentary geo-centric business conversations, new technology powered.
From periphery to core: Our fun geospatial journey has only just begun.
